Jackyl
Jackyl's latest studio album, "When Moonshine and Dynamite Collide" is now available in stores and online. "This album is a crunchy slab of rock and roll with a mouthful of Georgia Dirt," Dupree explains. "We're looking forward to hitting the road this year and taking these tunes to the stage." Indeed being true to his word, Jesse and the boys are bringing their signature blend of rock n' roll mayhem to the people this summer, saying "(this) album sounds exactly like "Jackyl" (1992 self-titled debut album) except its one notch louder." Be sure to check out the latest tour dates and if you haven't yet gotten your hands on "When Moonshine and Dynamite Collide", what are you waiting for?? PUH-POW!!!
Dead Friend Walking
Dead Friend Walking
Dead Friend Walking formed in 2008 originally as a project for an incarcerated imagination. Personnel changes soon changed that and a new breed of metal-monster was born. Dead Friend Walkings's current line-up includes- Slick Johnny P(drums/vocal), Vince Dodds (guitar) , Jimmy Shai (guitar/lead vocals) and Ray "Fingaz" MaGee (Bass). Not being afraid to play the way they want (fusing metal/stoner rock and everything in between) and staying true to their roots makes Dead Friend what they are...An all-out, ass-kicking, smack-you-upside the head performance you don't want to miss! - Dead Friend Walking enjoys the support of a loyal fan base that makes all the hard work , worth the sacrifices. Dead Friend Walking shows are like Mardi Gras on wheels.Being a part of the Midwest Rockfest and sharing the mainstage with acts such as Styx, Drowning Pool, Twisted Sister and Buckcherry, as well as Winger,Texas Hippie Coalition and Fuel has been great for Dead Friend Walking, and has not stopped there. A high energy addition to any show , DFW delivered a punch to the gut performing at the Camp Jager Stage for Rocklahoma 2012. "We'll bring out the inner child in ya...then take it's lunch money!" Suffice to say that Dead Friend Walking has been influenced by (but not limited to)Sabbath,Cheech&Chong, Jerry Springer and our screwed up legal system and everything in between."Basically, if you've ever praised us, prodded us or pissed us off, we've probably wrote about it!" Dead Friend doesn't write in a formulaic"regurgitated" manner, instead, opting to ignore rules and write from the heart, the songs you'll hear are interpretations or opinions of situations that occur everyday .No names were changed to protect the innocent..."'Cause there are none!"Enjoy the ride at a show near you!
