The MAKE AMERICA ROCK AGAIN tour is back for its second annual sojourn, bringing America’s biggest and best hard-rocking party to your backyard! The tour will feature a stellar line-up consisting of lauded Creed vocalist Scott Stapp in the headlining spot (performing Creed hits with his full band), alt-rock giants Sick Puppies, massive heavy rockers Drowning Pool and modern rock royalty Trapt.

Last year’s MAKE AMERICA ROCK AGAIN tour drew nearly 100,000 fans in 46 cities, and this year promises to be even bigger and better.

Scott Stapp’s artistic and personal journey have encompassed all the talent and torment imaginable in scaling to musical success. The founding member of Creed chronicled his questions, his quest for answers, and his dreams from faith to fatherhood in chart topping hits, “My Own Prison,” “Higher,” and “With Arms Wide Open,” which dominated the sonic landscape of the 90s-2000s. His soul-piercing lyrics backed by thundering rock riffs garnered a Grammy award, and countless other accolades of creativity and chart domination, not to mention legions of fans, who felt a kindred spirit in his honesty.

Creed toured extensively through its reign atop rock music, but for Scott, the musical machinery to keep the show going meant some terrible personal cost, as he sunk into depths of depression, and periods of erratic behavior that was later to be revealed as undiagnosed bipolar disorder, prompting self-medication that turned to addictive behaviors. His creativity, passion, and desire to be transparent in his struggle never waned, and were evident on his debut solo album, The Great Divide (2005), the Full Circle album from a “rebirthed” Creed in 2009, several tours, his starkly revealing memoir, Sinner’s Creed (2012), and his highly-acclaimed second solo album, Proof of Life, in 2013, which brought Scott’s first number one song on the Christian charts.
Scott’s spiral with addiction and bipolar disorder through the past year proved to be the most harrowing chapter of his life. With the love and support of his family, acceptance of his diagnosis, proper combinations of treatment and therapy, and a balanced, healthy lifestyle, grounded in faith, he has come through to the other side. He has a fresh purpose in performing, writing, and singing, to bring hope to “even one person” who is amidst the kind of struggle he knows. He is now sharing his stories with the world (recently featured in People Magazine and the Dr. Oz Show). Hope has always been a theme of his music, and now, that level of hope takes on a whole new dimension.

Scott and his wife, Jaclyn, are appearing in vh1’s Couple’s Therapy in the current sixth season, hoping to be a real-life example for other families with similar struggles, and an inspiration that healing and rebuilding life together is possible.
Scott is embarking on an international tour with his first-ever stops in South Africa (December), continuing with U.S. dates in 2016.
In gratitude for the many interventions made in his behalf, Scott devotes himself to “paying it forward” to others in need through numerous outreaches. He created the “With Arms Wide Open Foundation” in 2000 to help underprivileged children and families around the world. The foundation has donated over $1 million to various causes. He is also involved with CHARM (Children are Magical) which his wife founded to heighten the awareness of children’s issues and provide underprivileged youth with the tools to enrich their lives.

Currently Scott resides in Boca Raton, FL with his wife, Jaclyn, and their three children.

Connect is the perfect title for Sick Puppies' third and most ambitious album. The trio is all about connection–with their fans, each other, their own psyches—and each of the dozen songs on Connect–from intense, epic rockers to mellower yet lyrically anguished ballads–is introspective yet also universal. From the first single, "There's No Going Back" to the band's most political song, the ironic "Gunfight," Connect will exhilarate old fans and captivate new ones. The L.A.-based, Australian-bred band struck an elusive musical and lyrical balance of past and future on Connect, as band co-founder/singer/guitarist Shimon Moore explains: "There are two ways to shoot yourself in the foot—never changing… or changing too much." With Connect, Sick Puppies came into their own, thanks in no small part to five years of touring and a full year of songwriting, finding their musical medium without sacrificing intensity or their trademark, dead-on lyrical acuity and introspection.

Since the release of Tri-Polar (nearly half a million units to date and over 2 million single sold) and its slew of radio hits—the #1 Rock track "You're Going Down," the Top Five Modern Rock/Active Rock hits "Odd One" & "Riptide" and the cross-format anthemic smash "Maybe." Connect (out July 16, 2013), with its melding of room-filling rockers and edgy yet poignant lyrics, is poised to be the lineup's best-selling record yet. Moore explains how Connect evolved: "We've always had the colors to work with, but we really got to use some broad strokes in Polar Opposite, our 2011 reimagined acoustic record. It was always a dream of mine to work with strings and a choir, and our producer made it kinda trippy and unusual on Polar Opposite. So I was looking forward to taking some of the elements of that, and furthering some melodies and sentiments of [2007's US debut] Dressed Up As Life, and the heaviness from Tri-Polar. It's an amalgamation of all into one, which is why I think it's our best work to date."

Produced, as was Tri-Polar, by the Rock Mafia production team of Tim James and Antonina Armato, Connect also took guidance from another, very pure source: the trio's legions of fans. With face-to-face and online interaction with Sick Puppies World Crew, the band listened when followers said they loved their agro side, yet also wanted more of bassist/co-founder Emma Anzai's vocals. Indeed, Anzai comes into her own on Connect, with more vocal presence on songs like "Die To Save You", "Telling Lies" & debuts her lead vocal on "Under A Very Black Sky". Though the whole band contributes to songwriting, she takes particular pride in "Healing Now." "It's got my bass riff at the beginning, like 'Odd One' on our previous record," she notes. "And on 'There's No Going Back' I love that while it's slightly nostalgic and a little melancholy, it's also uplifting. Our ballads can be sweet, but at the same time, the content is quite painful, and I like that contrast."

The band, co-founded in 1999 by Moore and Anzai while still in high school, signed to Paul Stepanek Management, soon after they rounded out their line up by adding Orange County, California-bred drummer Mark Goodwin, who they met through a classified ad following their move to LA in 2006. Soon after, signed to Paul Palmer's indie label through Virgin Records, a fortuitous video pairing with a friend led Sick Puppies to online fame with the song "All The Same" (AKA the Free Hugs video), which earned an astonishing 75-million-plus views worldwide, and led to appearances on Oprah, 60 Minutes, CNN, Good Morning America, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Other outside-the-box endeavors also pepper the band's impressive resume. Sick Puppies were featured on Cinemax's Tour Stories, a five-part documentary about the band; "You're Going Down" was the official theme for the WWE's "Extreme Rules"; plus, as dedicated road dogs, playing over 750 shows in North America, they've shared the stage with bands including Muse, Tool, The Killers, Papa Roach and Deftones.

The years of touring are evident not only in the tight, intuitive playing on Connect, but also in the lyrics, which proved cathartic for the group. "We've been on the road five or six years straight," Moore notes. "And when you come back to 'real life,' everything is different, and you don't realize until you have a moment to breathe. Your parents have gray hair, stores have moved, Twitter happened, the world vomited a whole new culture while we were out playing rock 'n' roll!" he notes. Grappling with those changes and emotions lend an intimate searching to many of Connect's sound and words. "You're like, 'where did the time go,' and that's exactly the title of one of our songs."

As for the concept of connecting, Moore observes that "there are only a few things every single person in the world has in common. One is that we all need each other. To have a song ["Connect"] that captures that is pretty special." While most of the songs on Connect were written in 2012, the album's title track "Connect" contains the oldest riff in Moore's musical arsenal. "It's fun; I wrote it while in high school learning how to play guitar, and I always had it in my back pocket," the singer recalls. "I've brought it up on every record, but wasn't right." Finally, though his eternal riff found its perfect chorus—with a little banjo added for good measure.

Drummer Goodwin notes: "We're a career band. We want to build and take the time to make things right. The first time we ever jammed it was a massive wall of sound; amazing for a trio. It's been that way ever since. On Connect, we went more for 'big' rather than 'heavy.' We did a lot of percussion–tambourines and shakers—and that's rounded us out when we play acoustically as well."

The third time is the charm on Connect. With two powerful albums and three varied EP's preceding it, Connect ties the Sick Puppies sound and vibe together and sets the stage for future aural adventures in all shapes and sizes. To wit: the persuasive lyrics of "Run," which is a favorite of Moore's, contains his personal mantra in lines such as: "You better run as fast as you can / cause this world tries to stop you, stop you, stop you / whenever it can." He confesses, "I only subscribe to that half the time, so it's good to have a song you can sing to yourself for inspiration as much as to your audience!" Even with Connect's myriad lyrical and musical layers, the record still manages to breathe. "I believe that we succeeded in making an album that will stand the test of time," Moore concludes with a laugh. "At least I hope so!"

Giant riffs, crowd moving grooves and monstrous vocals are the tools with which DROWNING POOL build triumph out of tragedy, steadily evolve without compromise, and remain true to their supporters with over a decade’s worth of remarkable fortitude and attitude. HELLELUJAH is absolutely the album their diehard fans demanded and the aggressive heavy rock world at large deserved.

The platinum-plus conquerors from The Lone Star State deliver their heaviest batch of hell raising anthems, each burning with fiery adrenaline destined to light the radio ablaze and ignite crowds into impassioned sing-alongs. Only a few seconds into the album’s first single, “By the Blood,” it’s evident that Hellelujah is the most aggressive, ambitious, and truly definitive Drowning Pool album since Sinner, the platinum platter that gave the world Top 20 rock radio hit “Tear Away” and the massively successful “Bodies.”

It doesn’t get more brazenly defiant than Drowning Pool Hellelujah bangers like “We Are the Devil,” “Goddamn Vultures,” or “Push”: forward thinking modern rock anthems incorporating classic elements of brutal grooves with melodic power that never once sounds weak. C.J. Pierce’s guitar work is devastatingly crunchy yet dynamically colorful, locking in perfect sync with the charging rhythms of fellow cofounders Stevie Benton on bass and Mike Luce on drums, as Jasen Moreno’s vocals forge venom and bile into hooks.

Drowning Pool have scorched the stage alongside a who’s-who of genre legends, upstarts and everything else on the spectrum, including Ozzy Osbourne, Mötley Crüe, Papa Roach, System Of A Down, Kiss, Korn, Sevendust, Seether, Hellyeah, P.O.D., Five Finger Death Punch, Black Label Society and stints on Ozzfest with Metallica, Rob Zombie, and Marilyn Manson.

Each of Drowning Pool’s last three albums debuted in the Top 5 on Billboard’s Hard Rock chart, cementing the legacy established by their legendary platinum debut, Sinner, which the band celebrated with a 13-year anniversary special edition and tour. Moreno’s massive pipes enabled him to quickly master Drowning Pool’s dense catalog when he became the band’s frontman in 2012. From his reverent delivery of the late Dave Williams mosh-pit ready lyrics in the ubiquitous signature hit “Bodies” to his powerful take on Top 5 Active Rock hits like “Step Up” from Desensitized (2004), “37 Stitches” from Full Circle (2007), and “Feel Like I Do” from their self-titled album (2010). As Revolver Magazine noted in their detailed review of Resilience (2013): “Drowning Pool continue to produce consistently killer albums with an unmistakable sound.”

Hellelujah (2016) is unfiltered and uncompromising, representing a band free to say, play, and do what they please, thanks to the unending support of their fans. Their shared loyalty, drive, and passion resulted in what Moreno describes as a “bad attitude record,” an album that pulls no punches with inspired confrontation. Producer Jason Suecof (All That Remains, Trivium, Demon Hunter) was the perfect man to capture the blend of metallic roots and instantly memorable choruses, riffs, and wickedly upfront lyrical assaults.

Drowning Pool songs conjure emotions that deeply connect with those who persevere against the odds and sacrifice to survive, whether it’s a military soldier serving overseas, or a blue-collar family trying to make ends meet. Their music transcends boundaries of race, class and lifestyle as well, resonating with people from all walks of life who look to music to get them through life’s challenges. The band’s Texas-sized crunch and gregarious, charismatic personalities catapulted them to platinum status and hard rock royalty in the early 2000s alongside contemporaries like Disturbed, Godsmack, and Slipknot. They’ve toured with Ozzy Osbourne. They regularly perform for U.S. Troops, traveling as far as the war zones of the Middle East to the outposts of Southeast Asia. They personally encouraged then-Senator Barack Obama to push through the Lane Evans Health Act, which improved healthcare for veterans.

Big sonic slabs of muscular power with a taste of the dark melodies of post-grunge remain Drowning Pool’s stock and trade. Their music is an unapologetic celebration of life’s joy and pain, able to swiftly maneuver between defiant declarations of resistance. Each distinctive era of the band’s history is represented onstage, where the band bashes through an arsenal of anthems all delivered with precision strength. The Hellelujah songs (with more contributions from all four members than ever) pulse with the power of all that’s come before and a reinvigorated hunger for the future. Drowning Pool celebrate the past while firmly focused on the present, coalescing into a brightly lit artistic future.

Trapt is an alternative band from Los Gatos, California. The band formed in 1995, after meeting in high school, with members: Chris Taylor Brown (vocalist), Simon Ormandy (guitarist), Peter Charrell (bassist) and David Stege (drummer) and recorded the albums 'Amalgamation' and 'Glimpse' to sell at local shows. After several rehearsal absences and negative feedback the band decided to let David go. While attempting to find a suitable replacement, the band signed to Warner Bros. Records and began recording their debut self-titled album. The band enlisted Robin Diaz, to perform drums on the record, and in turn Robin, helped the band find their permanent drummer, Aaron Montgomery.

On November 22nd, 2002, the band released Trapt, along with the single "Headstrong". "Headstrong" became a fantastic hit, reaching #1 on alternative charts and #16 on pop. Follow-up singles "Still Frame" and "Echo" (with a video featuring Michelle Trachtenberg) did respectably, although they never reached the heights of "Headstrong". "Headstrong" became the official theme song of WWE Bad Blood for June 2003. Trapt eventually hit platinum. After more than one year an EP followed on March 30th, 2004, that included a new song called "Promise" along with live versions of "Made Of Glass" and "Echo".

On September 13th, 2005, the band released their sophomore album "Someone In Control" along with the single "Stand Up". "Stand Up" failed to do as well as any of their previous singles, although it still made an excellent run on active rock stations. "Waiting" and "Disconnected (Out Of Touch)", were also released as singles, and have yet to repeat the success of any of Trapt's self-titled radio hits. The band spent the first half of 2006 co-headlining with Shinedown as part of the Equinox Tour.

A live album was released in September, 2007, containing live tracks from both previous albums with new studio tracks "Stay Alive" and "Everything to Lose".

Trapt hit the studio in July 2007 to begin recording their 3rd album, which was released on 5th August 2008 named "Only Through the Pain…".

Trapt announced in late fall/early winter 2009 they were working on a new album for summer or fall release in 2010. On July 20, 2010, Trapt released their first single "Sound Off," for the upcoming album "No Apologies," due out in stores October 12, 2010.
